The small print
Terms of use
Last updated 9 October 2026.
What we do
pen2post turns a photo of your handwritten note into a printed postcard and mails it to the address you give us. These terms apply every time you order.
Your order
- The price shown before you pay is the full price. It includes printing and postage.
- Prices are in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount and may add its own fee.
- Cards to addresses outside the United States and the United Kingdom carry an international shipping fee, shown before you pay.
- Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- If you have a discount code, enter it before you pay. One code per card. Codes have no cash value, may have a use limit or an end date, and we can withdraw one at any time before it is used.
- Each card is made to order. Once you have paid, it goes straight to the printer and cannot be changed or cancelled.
What you can send
- Only upload notes and photos that are yours to use.
- We do not print anything unlawful, threatening, hateful or sexually explicit, or anything showing sensitive details such as card numbers. Notes and photos are checked before payment.
- If we cannot print a card, we do not charge you. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.
Addresses and delivery
- We send to most countries. If we cannot send to a country, it is not in the list.
- Please check the address before you pay. We print exactly what you type.
- Delivery times are estimates. Once a card is mailed it is in the hands of the postal service, and we cannot track it.
If something goes wrong
See our refunds page. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer. Beyond those rights, our responsibility for any one order is limited to the price you paid for it.
